You forgot to mention the egg in your procedure. You should edit the procedure so that now one else will make the same mistake as I did. Because it is easy to miss some small things sometime. Well, the cake turns out quite good.
Can I use this for ube cake recipe - would it still be 20mins cooking time if it's a cake? also, did you put any food colouring. i just baked an ube cake yesterday using the ube yam and no trace of purple at all.
I'm sorry for the late reply. I've been inactive in blogging. Yes, you can do use this for a cake. You might need to double the recipe. You will also need to adjust the time. I haven't tried it yet though.
This looks really yummy. i might try it some time!

DeleteThe ube flavoring will make it purple :)
Can you find the ube jam at any Filipino market?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the super late reply. I've been inactive in blogging. I rarely see ube jam in the markets.
